Sightseeing:
Casa Luján: A steep road leads from the village centre up to the Casa Luján. The typical 19th century Canary mansion has been carefully restored, decorated with details and furnished with articles dating back to the era of its construction.
Opening hours: daily 10:00-13:00/16:00-18:00
Mirador de San Bartolomé: The detour to Mirador is signposted and worth the trip, because the hilltop offers a wonderful view from all angles of the deep canyons and rambling coast.
Cubo de La Galga: Upside of the town of La Galga. Perhaps not so well-known as the bay forest Los Tilos, but equally impressive in its green splendour.
Playa de Nogales: Accessible from the town centre of San Juan de Puntallana, but the last stretch to the beach must be done on foot (about 15 minutes’walk). High rock faces hem the wild romantic bay. This means, however, that the sun disappears behind the rocky cliffs in early afternoon. Bathing is strictly prohibited here, due to a dangerously strong current.
